Admissions Requirements

If you are a Family Office, Family Member, Family Office Executive or Industry Professional, then an Executive Education program at the Family Office Real Estate Institute may be right for you. As we admit applicants on a rolling, space-available basis, you are encouraged to submit your application as soon as possible.

Applicant Qualifications

Each Executive Education program at the Family Office Real Estate Institute has its own requirements, In general you must work for a Family Office, be a Family Member, Family Office Executive or Industry Professional.  Although there are no formal education requirements, the selective admissions process is based on your affiliation to the Family Office industry. Language Proficiency

Our programs at the Institute are designed to foster among participants, proficiency in written and spoken English is essential. 

Institute Values
The Van Keuren Family Office Real Estate Institute (FOREI) believes in values that foster honesty, respect for others, and accountability for one's actions.  FOREI considers these values essential for a safe and productive learning environment for all. The Family Office Real Estate Institute reserves the right to withdraw an offer of admission in the event that any part of your application contains misrepresentations, or if you engage in, or have engaged in, behavior that violates against the Institutes policies.
Letter of Reference

Specific programs also require a letter of reference from a Family Office, a Family Member or a Institute graduate who is familiar with the applicant's role and responsibilities and can provide a detailed firsthand account.  If a letter of references is required, it will be indicated in the program offering.

Family Office Attendance
Many programs are appropriate for a Family Office as well as other Family Members and any internal Family Office Professionals. Team participation enhances the Family Offices ability to develop real estate investment goals as a group, create strategies for implementing change, and transfer knowledge across the Family Office —while pursuing a shared vision. Contact a representative to review individual programs that may be well suited for your Family Office, or for a customized program specifically for your Family and Family Office.  All applications are required for the Admissions Committee to make an admissions decision.
